Get A Member Campaign Last July we launched a Member-Get-A-Member campaign, where the member who brought in the most regular members would receive free registration to one of our upcoming meetings. Update on Brad Berk's Recovery As you know, Dr. Brad Berk, CEO of the University of Rochester Medical Center, past President of NAVBO and member of our Scientific Advisory Board, was seriously injured while cycling at the end of May. Dr. Berk is doing well, see a video update from Brad at: http://www.urmc.rochester.edu/berk/
Genetics and Genomics of Drs. Marchuk and Vikkula did an outstanding job of bringing together experts in the fields of genetic and genomics and of course vascular biology. The discussions following every talk were quite lively and involved.
If you attended the meeting (or even if you didn't), you may want to view the Photo Gallery - special attention is given to our trainee awardees -
If you were unable to attend the meeting but are interested in this topic, please join NAVBO's group on Genetics and Genomics. Log into the web site, select groups from the main menu, choose Workshops, then choose Genetics and Genomics of Vascular Disease and click on Join Group in the header.
